| Description |
English: Streetcar tracks in Union Square, Allston in April 1948. The Watertown Line (future "A" Branch) tracks run from the right side to the background; the Brighton Avenue streetcar reservation in the background was removed the next year. At left, a loop track runs onto Cambridge Street. That loop was used during Braves games when streetcars were stored on Brighton Avenue. In the foreground, tracks not used since the 1920s continue onto Beacon Street. |
