Description
English: Looking north on Columbus Avenue at Northampton Street in 1942. The streetcar is on the Massachusetts–Dudley line, which used Columbus for a single block between Massachusetts Avenue and Northampton Street, and is about to turn left onto Northampton. The tracks in the foreground lead to the Lenox Street carhouse.
