Description
English: Stono, built by Colonel John Jordan in 1818, is located at Jordan's Point just north of the Virginia Military Institute in Lexington, Virginia. The house is one of Virginia's earliest examples of Roman Revival architecture. Photograph courtesy of the Carol M. Highsmith Collection, Library of Congress, Washington, D. C.
