Description
English: Yellow cloth decorated with a pattern of printed Star of David and the word Jood (Dutch for 'Jew'), for making antisemitic yellow badges (Dutch: Jodenster, German: Judenstern, Gelber Stern), badges that Jews were ordered to wear in public in Nazi Germany and some German-occupied areas during World War II. Jewish Dutch people were ordered to wear the yellow badge from 29 April 1942. Joods Historisch Museum (Jewish Historical Museum), Amsterdam, the Netherlands, 2017.
