Description
Français : TRINITÉ est un triptyque de l’artiste Stan Musquer, peintre de la Guadeloupe.

Dans le christianisme, la Trinité (ou Sainte Trinité) est le Dieu unique en trois personnes : le Père, le Fils et le Saint-Esprit, égaux, participant d'une même essence divine et pourtant fondamentalement distincts. Le terme Trinitas (= tri + unitas) est forgé en latin par Tertullien (155-220).

Entre 1992 et 2020, Stan aura exécuté en Guadeloupe parmi d’autres tableaux plus d’une trentaine de peintures détournant les versions imposées par l’occident du célèbre couple de la genèse.

Le caractère exceptionnel de cet engagement tenant peut-être dans le fait que Stan est un artiste lui-même de naissance occidentale, à l’enfance continuellement déplacée, notamment au Maroc, mais pourvu d’une adolescence et d’une vie désormais guadeloupéennes qu’il assume par une peinture structurée et dont la symbolique, basée essentiellement sur la rencontre, questionne un sensible de portée universelle.
