Airmail-Stamp of Spain; 1941; airmail stamp of the series "Juan de la Cierva"; The stamp motive shows a monochromatic portrait of "Juan de la Cierva" (1895-1936) as Spanish engeneer and his "Autogyro" "C-30" over Madrid (= the first official used Carrier-Helicopter).; His researches have delivered an important contribution for the development of th helicopter (and the "Helicopter-Principle") after the WWII.: In opposite to the stamp-issue from 1939 (original issue) had the issue of 1941 paler colors and was printed on poor "war"-paper (1939 issue on white "freedom"-paper).; stamp postmarked
