Deutsch: Deutscher Pfadfinder vom Stamm Ägypten (Trupp Penzberg) mit englischen Pfadfindern der Scout Association aus Leeds an der Ostküste nördlich von Newcastle upon Tyne. Die Pfadfinderführer aus Leeds, einer damals von Arbeitslosigkeit geprägten Stadt, schenkten den Kindern eine schöne Zeit an der See. Uns deutsche Pfadfinder luden sie nach dem Marsch am Hadrianswall ein, mit ihnen zu Zelten. Ein paar Tage blieben wir dort, besuchten mit unseren Freunden u.a. Lindisfarne und reisten dann weiter nach Bath, in den Süden des Landes. Der Pfadfinderhut stammte aus dem Rüsthaus der Pfadfinder und Pfadfinderinnen Österreichs (PPÖ) in Wien. Die englischen Pfadfinder kannten zu dieser Zeit keine pfadfinderische Kopfbedeckung mehr. Der englische Pfadfinder rechts neben dem deutschen trägt ein marineblaues deutsches Schiffchen.
