Summary[edit]

Description
English: A Continental R-670 (W670) air-cooled seven-cylinder radial piston aircraft engine. The Continental R-670 had a displacement of 668 cubic inches (10.95 litres), and this version was rated at 240 horsepower (180 kW). The R-670 was used for several single-engine utility aircraft and trainers during the 1930s and 1940s, including various Waco biplanes, the Stearman PT-17 Kaydet (and its Navy counterpart, the N3N), and the Fairchild PT-23, as well as for several U.S. light armored vehicles of World War Two. Displayed at the Stafford Air & Space Museum, Weatherford, Oklahoma, U.S.
