English: St Mary Magdalene Church, Mitford The Church of St Mary Magdalene was built in the late 12th century as the parish church of Mitford. Parts of the church were damaged in military attacks during the 13th and 14th centuries and subsequently rebuilt. Further restoration was carried out in the 19th century. The church bell is allegedly the oldest in England. |
