English: Church of England parish church of St Mary the Virgin, Waterperry, Oxfordshire: early 14th-century three-light traceried window and late 17th-century Jacobean pulpit. St Mary the Virgin parish churchyard, Waterperry, Oxfordshire: part of northeast window of nave, depicting arms of Robert FitzElys/FitzEllis (Argent, a bend between six fleurs-de-lys gules (Burke's General Armory, 1884, p.353) impaling Fawkener (Sable, three falcons close belled proper in the centre point a mullet argent). Per Flickr, jmc4 - Church Explorer[1]: Robert FitzElys / Fitzeley Robert FitzEllis son of John FitzEllis died circa 1438. Robert, a Yorkist, was great x 3 nephew of Robert Fizellis c.1340 www.flickr.com/photos/52219527@N00/8423787327/ He married Margaret Fawkener (d.1469) daughter of William Fawkener. Children: Margery m Thomas Billing
