English: High-power (15 kilowatt) spark-gap transmitter at the United States Navy Yard, Washington DC. call sign| QI from 1907 on 840 and 1125 meters, on 900 meters from 1908, call NAL from 1909. Manufactured by Massie Wireless Telegraph Company.[1] Original caption:
