Heres how: easiest is toadd liquid to your favorite preparedpancake mix; or, sift together 3tsp. baking powder, V£ tsp. salt, 1tsp. sugar and 2 cups sifted flour. Combine 2 well beaten eggs withW% cups milk. Then add flour mix-ture and beat until smooth; add2 tbsp. melted shortening. Spoonon hot griddle and bake until firstbubbles break, then turn. Makes2 dozen small cakes.
