Guidance, directional and marking systems Solar road studs, also known as solar road markers or cat’s eyes, are active solar powered lights which are used to signal potential danger zones for drivers of road vehicles. Compared to conventional passive reflectors, solar road shine active in low-light conditions due to the Light Emitting Diodes (LED) technology. This provides much greater visibility and effectiveness of marking potential hazardous areas, such as pedestrian crossing, traffic islands and junction, road curves and roundabouts, etc...
