Crypt at Lafayette Cemetery, New Orleans. "Society For the Relief of Destitute Orphan Boys".

I love how they just put it out all there back then. "Hey kid... you're not only an ORPHAN, but guess what, you're DESTITUTE too. And here's the GRAVE where your BODY WILL ROT."

Okay, actually the Society For the Relief of Destitute Orphan Boys was a needed charity back in the days when orphaned children were left to fend for themselves in the streets, and providing a tomb for them when they died was considered part of the charity. The society was an ancestor of what became the Waldo Burton Boys Home, still doing good works in New Orleans.
