Summary[edit]
DescriptionSite of Bolingbroke Castle and Rout Yard, Old Bolingbroke - geograph.org.uk - 1524395.jpg |
English: Site of Bolingbroke Castle and Rout Yard, Old Bolingbroke This is the rout yard where all the silt from the moat is to be dumped. It is expected that the level will be raised by about one metre. In winter and during bouts of heavy, the rout yard fills and holds quite a volume of water. I asked what effect the raise in level will have and where will the water be likely to go. I was a little concerned that if this level was raised, other parts of the site might flood instead. I was assured that it will have been discussed. |
