Summary[edit]
| Description |
English: Sign reminding Singaporean drivers crossing into Malaysia to fill their fuel tank to not less than three quarters of its capacity. Fuel is subsidised in Malaysia and therefore much cheaper than in Singapore, and crossing into Malaysia for the cheaper prices is viewed by the Singaporean Government as a form of tax evasion. Drivers that attempt to leave Singapore without a fuel tank at least three quarters full can face heavy fines and even prosecution. |
