ไทย: ธงผู้บังคับการเรือของราชนาวีสยาม (ธงหางจระเข้) สร้างขึ้นตามความบรรยายในตามพระราชบัญญัติธง รัตนโกสินทรศก 116 และพระราชบัญญัติธง รัตนโกสินทรศก 118 มีลักษณะดังนี้

"ธงหางจรเข้ ขนาดกว้างต้นเจ็ดนิ้ว เรียวปลายแหลมยาวสามวา ส่วนหนึ่งข้างต้นพื้นสีแดง สองส่วนข้างปลายสีขาบ สำหรับชักขึ้นบนเสา เปนที่หมายเฉภาะนายเรือ"

รูปลักษณะของธงที่ปรากฏในที่นี้ จำลองแบบตามหนังสือพระราชบัญญัติธง รัตนโกสินทรศก 118 (ตีพิมพ์ในชื่อ "พระราชบัญญัติ์ว่าด้วยแบบอย่างธงสยาม" ที่เมืองไลป์ซิก จักรวรรดิเยอรมัน ในปีใดปีหนึ่งระหว่างปี พ.ศ. 2442-2453) ซึ่งสามารถดูได้จากใน File:Flag regs of Siam - 1909.pdf
