| Description |
English: Shrewsbury Castle over the wall Very little remains of the original finely-situated Norman castle. The structure was extensively remodelled in the C19 and later transferred to the corporation of Shrewsbury for council meetings and a regimental museum. The end result is a very municipal-looking building best seen at a distance or, as here, peeping out above its manicured grounds. |
