Українська: Original description: Бої за Бахмут — найрезультативніший період снайперської групи ОЗСП “Омега”. Учасник оборонної операції — офіцер-спецпризначенець Козак розповів про специфіку своєї роботи у міській забудові.

Восени 2022 року Бахмутом ще їздив комунальний транспорт, попри те, що бої за місто почалися ще влітку. Взимку ситуація катастрофічно загострилась – ворог закріпився в приватному секторі та рвався до центру. Його просування супроводжувалося пекельними втратами особового складу окупаційних сил та техніки, які завдавали українські захисники.
“На початку січня 2023 року наш підрозділ отримав завдання виїжджати до Бахмута. На інструктажі наше командування розповідало, що для групи снайперів там буде багато роботи, бо ворог наступає переважно піхотою: біжать на наші позиції як зомбовані. Я спочатку досить скептично поставився до цих слів, бо це ненормально. Але потім так і було: по десять-двадцять чоловік бігли просто на наші позиції. Ми по них стріляємо – вони падають. Але їх це не зупиняло, адже наступні бігли по трупах та поранених, не звертаючи на них жодної уваги. Ми лише потім все зрозуміли. Під час перехоплень їхніх радіоперемовин, ми почули, що вони наказували розстрілювати командирів, які відмовлялися вести людей у наступ, — пояснює Козак.
