Summary[edit]

Description

Page 108 of brochure Seattle and the Orient (1900). This page consists of a pair of photos captioned respectively as:

  • Upper: "Residence of Capt. W. W. Robinson, Jr., U. S. A., Aloha St., Queen Anne Hill."
  • Lower: "The new residence of Wilson R. Gay, 1733 Fifteenth Avenue. / Lawn and walks unfinished."

According to Polk's Seattle City Directory 1899 (Polk's Seattle Directory Co., 1899), p. 828, the Robinson house was at the northeast corner of Aloha and Warren Ave.

The Wilson R. Gay house still survives, but has been somewhat altered and is now split up into condos.
