Summary[edit]

Description Page 65 of brochure Seattle and the Orient (1900). This page includes text plus a photo captioned "Mill and Yard of the Stetson-Post Mill Company in Seattle". The mill stood between South Weller Street and South King Street (according to Appendix M of the Draft Environmental Impact Statement for the Alaskan Way Viaduct rebuild, March 2004). West Seattle can be seen across Elliott Bay in the background of the photo; Harbor Island (which presumably would be visible at left in this view today) was not yet built.
