The lower floor is occupied bythe various vehicles of the company,harness room, drying room, place forwashing wagons and by offices. Theupper portion is used for the horsestalls, in which they now give accom-modation to 107 head. It is dividedoff in a stall for each animal, withseveral box stalls for infirmary pur-poses. There is also a convenientplace for the veterinary. All the re-fuse is carried to the rear of the build- ing quite popular, and they alreadyhave four customers, one of whom usesfour wagons. The company has theright (in fact, are the only people inSeattle who have it) of boarding allincoming vessels and trains and solicit-ing baggage, and this feature of theirbusiness has grown to very large pro-portions. The president of this largeconcern is E. C. Neufelder, presixlentof the Peoples Bank, while R. J. Ree-kie is secretary and treasurer andlooks after the active management. THE SEATTLE HARDWARECOMPANY.
