English:

R. Perry Short coached the Seattle High School football team during its successful 1904 season. Led by Captain L. C. Palmer, the team competed against the University of Washington and high school teams in Bellingham, Tacoma, Spokane, and Lewiston, Idaho and won the 1904 Pacific Northwest Championship. This 1904 group portrait shows the Seattle High School football team which won the Pacific Northwest Championship. Coach Shorts stands in the back row, second from the left. Captain Palmer is in the oval inset. Seattle High School has also been called Broadway High School.
