Summary[edit]

Description
English: The former Oakland Hotel Building, now McCormick & Schmick's & some offices. Originally the site of the mansion of James Colman, this building, designed by Daniel Riggs Huntington, was built by the Colman estate from October 1909 to February 1910 directly in front of the house, which was later razed. It is now the only building left on its block except for the Columbia Center, Seattle's tallest skyscraper. See File:Seattle - looking up Cherry Street circa 1911.jpg for a 1911 image including this building (pointed out there by a note).
For more about the building see Summary for 722 4th AVE / Parcel ID 0942000640, Seattle Department of Neighborhoods.
