| Description |
English: "Residence of Geo. M. Stewart," from brochure Seattle and the Orient (1900). I know nothing about Stewart. According to Polk's Seattle City Directory 1899 (Polk's Seattle Directory Co., 1899), p. 924, Stewart's address was on Madison Street and the northwest corner of 18th, presumably this house. (That would be right on the border between Capitol Hill and First Hill.)
We have a picture of Stewart c. 1903. |
