| Description |
English: 1931 caption: '"Will you please fix my shoe, Mister? It lets in rain." Her shoe, along with thousands of others that "let in the rain," was fixed at the cobbler shop in the clothing depot, Twelfth and Yesler. This little girl, daughter of a man who has been unable to find work this winter, is typical of hundreds being helped through the work of the emergency relief organization and the various relief agencies of the Community Fund.
