Synthetic treatment pursued, as placingthe bones and building the muscles up in the order of the severallayers. Class C—Section IIThe designing and execution of furniture, pottery, metal, and mosaic, are parts of the course primarily as processes of design in Section I, becoming essential results in this section. Lectures and roncours are given at stated periods on Historic Ornament, Principles of Construction, Design, Anatomy, and the various mediums employed in this course.

Costumes and accessories are contmuously used toproduce effective combinations. The work from casts iscontinuous. PRACTICE AND METHODS IN TEACHING Analysis of school curriculum. Each student must presenttypical lessons, demonstrations and outline courses of studiesfor classes of various degrees of maturity. MUSEUM RESEARCH Survey of the educational functions and possibilities of themodern museum. Study of the evolution of the industrial artsand design. Research in various collections and museums iscarried on throughout the course. STUDY OF MEDIUMS Practice in interpreting objects in various mediums, as ink,pencil, paint, and charcoal.
