Description
English: The Apollo 17 space vehicle was moved today from the Vehicle Assembly Building to Complex 39's pad A in preparation for its launch with Astronauts Eugene A. Cernan, Commander; Ronald A. Evans, Command Module Pilot; and Dr. Harrison H. ""Jack"" Schmitt, Lunar Module Pilot, on the sixth U.S. manned lunar landing mission on December 6, 1972.
