English: meet to condemn the Swiss vote to ban the construction of new minarets
The Sahyog Cultural Society in association with Milli Forum organized a meet to condemn the Swiss government's ban on minaret of mosques and passed a resolution to approach the United Nations and Amnesty International for reversal of the order. The conference, held at the India Islamic Cultural Centre in New Delhi, was chaired by Mr. Sami Bubere, President, Sahyog Cultural Society and Chief of Milli Forum. A memorandum was unanimously passed which would be presented to the Embassy of Switzerland, Prime Minister's Office and Ministry of Externals Affairs of India. |
