The original finding aid described this as: Description: STS-61 mission specialist Tom Akers watches out the aft flight deck windows as he observes the EVA which is occurring in the payload bay (001-2, 004). Swiss Astronaut Claude Nicollier is pictured at the aft flight deck station he occupies. Among Nicollier 's responsibilities were the control of the Remote Manipulator System (RMS) during operations with the Hubble Space Telescope (HST) (003). View 003 was selected by PAO for release to the public.
