Description Trustees of San Diego Normal School in session, (from left to right) unidentified, Mr. Fuller, Mrs. Baldwin, Mr. Guy, Samuel T. Black, Mr. Powers, and unidentified. The school would later expand and change names several times until deciding on the current name, San Diego State University.
