Deutsch: Schlag nach!; Universal Lexikon; Leipzig, 1939; Wissenswerte Tatsachen aus allen Gebieten. Ein umfassendes Nachschlagewerk mit 1100 Übersichten und Tabellen, 448 Textabbildungen, 8 farbigen Tafeln und zwei mehrfarbigen Karten herausgegeben von den Fachschriftleitungen des Bibliographischen Instituts.   • Seite 215: Dienstrangabzeichen der SA. (Sturmabteilung), der SS (Schutzstaffel), des NSKK. (Nationalsozialistisches Kraftfahrkorps) und des NSFK. (Nationalsozialistisches Fliegerkorps)
    • Die rechte Kragenspiegel (Spiegelumrandung bei den Gliederungen jeweils verschiedenfarbig) enthält die Nummer und Art der Einheit (bis Obersturmbannführer bei SA. und SS., Oberstaffelführer bei NSKK.)
    • Der linke Kragespiegel enhält die Dienstrangabzeichen (ab Standartenführer beiderseitig)

    • The right collar tab (with coloured piping) contains the number and type of unit (up to Obersturmbannführer of SA and SS, Oberstaffelführer of NSKK.)
    • The left collar tab contains the rank insignia (from Standartenführer on both sides of collar)
    • The colour of the collar tabs is black for SS and NSKK., gray for NSFK., vermilion for the staffs of the higher motor groups and independent groups, carmine for the higher staffs of the NSKK. For the colours of the SA., see plate in the appendix.
