Encuentro de Naciones Hermanas Omawari.

La palabra “Omáwari” deriva de la raíz tarahumara “mawá” que significa respetar, y toma el significado de ceremonia, celebración o fiesta.

El encuentro consta de una serie de danzas de pueblos y grupos invitados de latinoamérica, en donde hablantes de lenguas originarias y protagonistas de los ciclos rituales de sus comunidades, intervienen para demostrar el importante trabajo de salvaguardar y perpetuar las antiguas tradiciones indígenas.
