Description
English: Roskilde Bank, Roskilde, Denmark. Information on new owner (The Danish National Bank and a Bank Trust) were fit to the door on monday morning, 25th August 2008. The whole translation of the text is: "Roskilde Bank continues with new owners - The National Bank and The Private Saving Trust are the new owners of Roskilde Bank. The new situation means that the National Bank wil be the main shareholder. The Bank will continue as before, and continue with bank-business as usual. Agreement You may have with the bank is still valid, like they were before 24th August 2008. You shall be served as you always have been. Read more on our homepage www.roskildebank.dk" - Roskilde Bank was the 10th largest bank in Denmark, but have made too many and too big and too risky credit agreement to some very big customers. The loss until now is aound ½ billion Euro but might be as big as 1 billion Euro, or even more. It it the first bank overtake by The Danish National Bank since 1928.
