Summary[edit]

Description
English: Cased ambrotype with a half-length portrait of a man facing forward and wearing a stove pipe hat.

During the Civil War Robert White served as Lieutenant Colonel of the 5th U.S.R.C. (3 months) and Colonel with the 14th Missouri Home Guards Infantry. He was wounded in battle in Lexington, Missouri, Sept. 20, 1861.
