| Description |
English: Roast maize in Kenya is a common delicacy, in most parts of the country it passes as a snack among many. Soft maize from the fields/market is roasted over low heat till it attains a golden brown colour. Besides being practised in many rural homes, urban settlements like the city of Nairobi have vendors who roast maize on makeshift 'barbecues' for pedestrians along busy streets and residential areas.
