Description

Entitled: Rich Merchants Dining With Singing Girls, Pekin, China [c1901] BW Kilburn [RESTORED] Light spot correction, tonal and contrast adjustment, with a sepia added on this surprisingly clean image found in the US Library Of Congress collection under Reproduction Number LC-USZ62-61010.

Unlike the others, this one was attributed directly to BW Kilburn (who used "work for hire" photographers in China). A continuation of the Slice of Life themed propped studio shots. One begins to recognize a few of the models in these pictures of this series. If that's not enough, the floor tiles are a dead giveaway; they're the same in a lot of the shots.
