Description Postcard panorama of "Rex" parade on Canal Street, New Orleans Mardi Gras, 1904. View is looking riverwards from center of Canal Street neutral ground at Barrone. Parade floats are seen going away from viewer on the right side and towards on the left side. Closest float at left is the King's Float. Crowds in the center includes a good number of masked and costumed revelers. US flags and Mardi Gras flags alternate flying from balconies along the street.
