Description
English: Remnants of buildings on the Hoogstraat, after the German bombing of 14 May 1940. During the Cleaning Warehouse of Gerzon, the Schielandshuis, the tower of the department store De Bijenkorf and the Erasmushuis. As a result of this bombing, the city center has largely destroyed.
Nederlands: Restanten van gebouwen aan de Hoogstraat, na het Duitse bombardement van 14 mei 1940. Verderop kledingmagazijn van Gerzon, het Schielandshuis, de toren van het warenhuis de Bijenkorf en het Erasmushuis. Als gevolg van dit bombardement is het centrum van de stad grotendeels verwoest.
