English: A capitol building once located in Columbia, Texas that housed the House of Representatives of the Republic of Texas in 1836. It was built by Leman Kelsey in 1833, and was destroyed in 1900 from the 1900 Galveston Hurricane. A replica was rebuilt on the same site in 1977 that still stands. |
