Thompson, F.L.S., F.E.M.S.With Plates I. and II. Since the last Eeport on the Marine Copepoda of thedistrict, thirty-one additional species have been recorded,making fifty species altogether known to the district.Four of them are new to Britain, three of them beingaltogether new to science. Two of the other species havenot been before recorded in Britain for fifty and thirtyyears respectively. Some of the species noticed in the first Eeport as havingbeen found locally or sparingly have since proved to bevery common throughout the district.
