In the following pages I have incorporated with theresults of the work of the L.M.B.C, during the years1886-7-8, my own observations on the Echinodermataof Beaumaris Bay and the Menai Straits. The total number of species obtained by the Committeeup to the present time is thirty-five, the additions to theprevious lists* consisting of five Asterids, viz., Stichasterroseus, Asterias glacialis, Solaster endeca, PoraniapulviUiis,and Luidia savignii, and one Holothurian, Cucumariaplanci. The Anglesey coast, fi-om Bangor eastwards,round by Puffin Island to Holyhead, and the deep watersoff the southern end of the Isle of Man, have again yieldedmost of the forms obtained. Though none of the species,nor yet of the groups to which they are assigned, can besaid to be peculiar to any part of the L.M.B.C. dist
