Summary[edit]

Description
English: Painful, itchy swollen lesions on fingers. Occurs on an occasional basis, typically lasting 1-2 weeks. Hard to bend fingers. Can also occur in toes, this is primarily referred to as Chilblians. Subject also has Raynaud's Disease. These lesions can occur after smaller blood vessels expand too quickly for larger surrounding vessels, bottlenecking the vessel causing blood to leak into the tissue. It is unknown why this occurs in certain people. Treatment can include calcium channel-blockers to help clear up lesions. Medicated cream should be applied to avoid infection.
