Description
English: Twin Ashokan piller at Rampurva. One pillar had Lion capital which was taken away to Indian museum, Kolkata and another had Bull capital which was taken to be installed as a decorative piece at Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi during British raj. Now we live in free India so these heritage of Champaran should be brought back
हिन्दी: रामपुरवा में दो अशोक स्तंभ। एक स्तंभ में शीर्ष में सिंह की प्रतिमा थी जिसे भारतीय संग्रहालय, कोलकाता में ले जाया गया था और दूसरे स्तंभ के शीर्ष में वृषभ (बैल) की प्रतिमा थी जिसे ब्रिटिश राज के दौरान दिल्ली में राष्ट्रपति भवन में एक सजावटी वस्तु के रूप में स्थापित किया गया था। अब हम आजाद भारत में रहते हैं इसलिए चंपारण की इन धरोहरों को वापस लाया जाना चाहिए.
