Description
Español: En la galería abierta que tiene la Catedral en el Patio de los Naranjos se encuentra la conocida popularmente como Puerta "del Lagarto". Aunque los turistas normalmente deben acceder por una pequeña puerta que hay junto a la Puerta del Príncipe en algunas ocasiones se recibe la entrada de turistas por la Puerta del Lagarto. Esta es la razón por la que a la izquierda se aprecia una estructura de metal y vidrio, que es la entrada de turistas desde el exterior. Al fondo se aprecia colgando la réplica en madera (en su tiempo estuvo forrada de tela) realizada en el siglo XVI de un cocodrilo. El cocodrilo vivo fue regalado al Rey de Castilla Alfonso X en torno al 1260 por el Sultán de Egipto. Es conocido popularmente como "el lagarto de la Catedral".
