Provenance : Ancienne collection de Boisfremont, son cachet en bas à gauche (L.353) - Ancienne collection Power, sa vente, les 15-16 avril 1864, n°73, (365 fr) - Ancienne collection E.Lecomte, sa vente les 11-13 juin 1906, n°27, (2700fr) à monsieur Féral. Étude pour la jeune femme en avant de la barque du tableau « Le Rêve du Bonheur » de Constance Mayer et Pierre-Paul Prud'hon. Pierre noire, estompe et rehauts de craie blanche sur papier anciennement bleu. Le dessin est préparatoire au «Rêve du Bonheur», peint par Constance Mayer et Pierre-Paul Prud'hon, et conservé au Musée du Louvre (inv.6586). On connaît au moins quatorze études par Prud'hon destinées à construire «Le Rêve du Bonheur». |
