Summary[edit]

Description
English: Procession at Marble Arch. The stretch of Edgware Road between Marble Arch and Marylebone Road is a centre for London's Arab community. This is a procession held to mark the martyrdom of Hussain, grandson of the Prophet Muhammad. The men are beating themselves with chain whips. I was given a pamphlet explaining what this was all about.
