Description Lot 11569-6: In animated conversation with President Franklin D. Roosevelt, returning in a big four-motored plane from the historic Casablanca “unconditional surrender” conferences, January 1943, is Harry L. Hopkins. Sitting directly behind them are Lieutenant George Fox, MC, US, (left), and Rear Admiral Ross T. McIntire, Surgeon General of the U.S. Navy. Across the aisle are Guy Spaman (with back of head towards camera), Secret Service; and Captain John L. McCrea, Presidential Naval Aide. Standing are: Arthur Prettyman, valet; hands folded, Charles Fredericks; Elmer Hipsley, Secret Service; Wilmer Deckard, Secret Service; and Captain Otis Bryan, Chief Pilot.
