Description
English: Door ornated with a group of the Annunciation and angel located in Mollien stairs. Limestone. The text on both en:speech scrolls is Ipsa me consolata sunt (=This comfort me). End 15th - beginning 16th century. From the Sorell palace in Valencia (Spain) destroyed by a fire in 1878. Purchase 1883. Louvre museum (Paris, France).
Français : Porte ornée d'un groupe de l'Annonciation et d'un ange à mi-corps et située dans l'escalier Mollien. Pierre calcaire. Le texte sur les deux fr:phylactères est Ipsa me consolata sunt (=Cela même m'a consolé). Fin XVe - début XVIe siècle. Provient du palais Sorell à Valence (Espagne) détruit par un incendie en 1878. Acquisition 1883. Musée du Louvre.
