English: The first Théâtre de la Porte Saint-Martin (built 1783) on the Boulevard Saint-Martin in Paris. The building was destroyed by fire in 1871 and replaced with a new theatre in 1873. This watercolor is by Jean-Baptiste Lallemand, from 1790. On the left of the theater one can see the Porte Saint-Martin, and a bit further on the Porte Saint-Denis.
